Mimi Webb @ Manchester 02 Ritz – Manchester, U.K.

Whilst a storm was brewing outside in the UK, rising pop star Mimi Webb was brewing up a storm of her own inside of the Manchester O2 Ritz. With one of the biggest queues I’ve ever seen for this venue, wrapping around the streets of Manchester, this sold-out show was set to be spectacular from the get go. Mimi Webb has been on a phenomenal rise to the top recently, with this leg of UK shows being sold out since 2021 and her debut EP Seven Shades of Heartbreak receiving a great response from her growing audience. Just this week the 21-year-old released her latest single ‘House on Fire’ which is looking to hit the UK charts as her highest entry to date, potentially debuting at number 6 this week. Last year, her breakout hit Good Without peaked at Number 8. Support for the night came from TikTok star and talented musician Casey Lowry.

First to the stage was TikTok sensation Casey Lowry, with a following of over 2 million on TikTok and over 600k on Instagram he can easily be put in the same bracket as Mimi Webb in future stars to look out for. The artist from Chesterfield, UK was perfect for tonight’s crowd and did wonders in warming everyone up as they entered from the cold outside and into the Manchester venue. Casey had the crowd laughing, dancing and very much in their feels throughout his set, however it was mainly positive vibes with Lowry laughing his way through the set, undoubtedly earning himself even more fans than before.

Finally, it was the moment that everyone in the room had been waiting for, as the gigantic neon lights lit up for the first-time illuminating Mimi Webb’s name the superstar bounced onto the stage to a wave of screams from her adoring fans in attendance, she kicked off the night with the emphatic track ‘24/5’ and had the whole place rocking. Webb would go on to play tracks from her debut EP like ‘Heavenly’ and ‘Lonely In Love’ and she even included fan favourites such as ‘I’ll Break My Heart Again’ which was a great touch for those in attendance who have followed her from the very start. Her first of two encore songs would be the recently released ‘House On Fire’ and it was astonishing to see how quickly her fans had grown to love this song as the reaction to it was simply sensational, Mimi would close out the memorable night with ‘Good Without’ and it was a perfect close to a perfect night. Mimi Webb has everything needed in a pop superstar and I can’t wait to see what this young talent produces in her debut album which hopefully shouldn’t be too far away.
