Music, Why Not!

Nightly @ Vinyl at Center Stage – Atlanta, GA (Support: THE WLDLFE & Sawyer)

Nashville-based pop group Nightly played to a sold out crowd in Atlanta, Georgia on January 17, 2020. The band is currently on their second headlining tour as they continue to climb up the charts with songs like “Phantom” and “Twenty Something”, which they both played that night.

Before this show, I had only heard of the band Nightly. I had never heard their music but that didn’t stop me from having a good time. Fans sang the familiar songs with all their heart as they danced the night away to one of their favorite bands. The lead singer of the band, Jonathan Capeci, continuously reminded the audience of how grateful he was that they came out to support them. Jonathan recalled that when they first played Atlanta last year, that event was also sold out.

After this, Nightly slid into the slow song portion of the show with their brand new song, “the movies”. This brought fans, friends, and significant others together as they swayed to the romantically nostalgic couple songs. Nightly kept fans on their toes even when they slowed things down a bit. The crowd danced the whole night long and I found a new favorite band.
