There is no doubt that when it comes to listening to good live music.Deep Ellum is the best place to go. There are always plenty of awesome musicians ready to blow you away. This Friday the all girl punk rock band from Memphis blew everyone away with their eccentric performance when they took the stage at the Double Wide Bar on Friday. Their show was electrifying as their music is super punk rock yet it incorporates a lot of psychedelic undertones. They list some of their musical influences to be The Stooges ‘Fun House’, CAN, Silver Apples, early Wire, Hawkwind and no wave. It is without a doubt they are influenced by some great band. Yet, they are still able to put make their sound so unique. Their performance was incredible. Their kick ass guitar solos and killer vocals are not the only reasons why this band will win you over the moment you decided to play one of their tunes. Their lyrics make a statement. Keep in mind they are a touring band- they have been exposed to a lot- which shows in their music. It is truly refreshing to come across
band so authentic- I recommend you see them live!
