P!NK brought The Summer Carnival to Minute Maid Park and truly gave everyone a night to remember.

As soon as you arrived at the venue, you could see the color pink everywhere, shoes, shirts, hats, pants, etc., it felt like a real life “Barbie Land”. Fans were taking pictures with the P!NK themed balloon setups, buying merch, and talking about how excited they were to be at the show – making myself and others more excited for what was yet to come. Support for the night came from Grouplove, KidCutUp, and Brandi Carlile. Each of these acts lit up the venue with their incredible music, making their long term fans in the audience dance and sing with joy, and made new fans along the way as well.

It was finally time for the show to start – a P!NK show isn’t a P!NK show without acrobatics, incredible vocals, and amazing visuals, she gave us just that within the first few minutes of the show. The set opened with “Get the Party Started” – a giant smiled opened on top of the stage and the singer was revealed – the crowd cheered in excitement and boom, P!NK started with the aerial acrobatics, leaving everyone stunned. The set was then followed by hit songs such as “Raise Your Glass”, “Who Knew”, “Just Like a Pill” and “What About Us”. P!NK thanked everyone for coming out and spending Wednesday night with her – she was very excited to perform for us.

The show also had some fantastic surprises. P!NK covered “Make You Feel My Love” as well as “Nothing Compares 2 U” where she brought out Brandi Carlile to sing with her! This part of the set was a little more slowed down and mellow, songs performed included “Just Give Me a Reason” and “F**kin’ Perfect”, even though the songs were a bit slower, attendees were giving it their all singing at the top of their lungs. Another surprise for attendees was when P!NK brought out her daughter Willow to sing “Cover Me in Sunshine”, the entire venue immediately went “awwwww” and admired the talent that was on stage.

As the show was coming closer to an end, P!NK did something incredible that you don’t see many artists do. She introduced everyone to each of her singers, dancers and band members. Each person was displayed on the big screens, as well as their individual names right under them – it goes to show how much she cares for her crew. The night ended with an incredible performance of “So What”. The singer got on her harness and flew throughout the entire stadium, she made sure that those in the nosebleeds as well as those on the floor were able to get a good view of her. There are no words to describe how incredible the show was, from visuals, to vocals, to acrobatics – the show had myself and fans in admiration the entire time. If P!NK ever comes to a city near you, please do everything in your power to try and attend, it’s a show you do NOT want to miss.
