Music, Why Not!

Post Malone @ The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Houston, Tx

Post Malone returned to Houston for the “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour” and gave his fans an incredible time. As soon as you arrived at the venue, there was nothing but good vibes all around. Fans showed up in their best outfits and took pictures with their friends, bought tons of merchandise and were ready to have a good time, support for the night came from Beach Fossils.

It was finally time for the show to start, the lights dimmed and the venue was full with cheers from the audience. Little by little Post’s ensemble and band came out, followed by the artist himself. Everyone screamed in excitement as soon as they saw Post Malone, the fans cheered even harder when the show opened with “Better Now” – with everyone singing it in unison. The show was followed by songs such as “Wow”, “Zack and Codeine” and “Psycho”. Malone performed tracks from his entire discography as well as from his newest album “Austin”  – some of the songs that were played included “Mourning”, “Over Now” and “Feeling Whitney”.

Before playing “Stay” Post had an interaction with a fan named Tyler, he brought him on stage, gave him a big hug and had him introduce himself to the entire venue. Tyler asked Post if he could sing the song and he said yes! Post played the guitar, while Tyler sang to the entire Houston crowd, occasionally having Malone sing as well, it was an amazing experience that everyone got to enjoy. The show was slowly coming to an end and hit songs such as “Circles”, “White Iverson”, “Congratulations” were played – you could hear the entire crowd singing over Post, it was such an incredible feeling. Post Malone thanked everyone for coming out to the show, took a bow and walked off stage, but little did fans know that the show was still not over.

The entire venue was filled with cheers from fans screaming “Posty” and “Encore”, still wanting more from the performer. He came back out and everyone cheered in excitement. He performed “Sunflower” while also grabbing a set of the flowers from a fan, and giving them out, it was a lovely moment between fans and him. The last song of the night was “Chemical”, everyone gave it their all for this song. The show was full of many interactive moments, amazing visuals/pyro and of course an incredible performance by Post Malone. If the “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour” comes to a city near you, please make sure to attend, it’s a show you won’t want to miss!
