Pusha T @ Manchester O2 Ritz – Manchester, U.K.

After being rescheduled three times, Pusha T’s UK leg of shows and this particular near sold-out concert in Manchester were quickly becoming some of the most shows anticipated of the year for gig-goers and I am beyond ecstatic to say that Pusha T massively made up for the delays, delivering one of the best live performances and atmospheres I’ve seen in the city for a long time. The American rap sensation flew over from across the pond to the UK to kick off his “It’s almost dry” tour, in support of his 2022 released album, and we were lucky enough to catch Pusha T as he landed in Manchester and took over the iconic Manchester O2 Ritz for a very special show in the north.

From the moment Pusha T stepped onto the stage, the energy in the venue was palpable. The Mancunian crowd erupted as he opened the night with “Let The Smokers Shine The Coupes”, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Pusha T’s stage presence was nothing short of captivating – his commanding presence and confident demeanour held the audience in a trance-like state. Gigantic mosh pits were formed throughout the night as King Push had the crowd eating out of the palms of his hands. Pusha T effortlessly flowed through his discography, seamlessly transitioning from classic tracks to newer releases. The precision of his lyrical delivery showcased his mastery of the craft, leaving no doubt that he is still a true poetic wordsmith in this day and age of rap. The visual production of the concert was also equally impressive. Dynamic lighting, immersive visuals, and clever stage design enhanced the overall experience, creating a sensory journey that complemented Pusha T’s lyricism. The crowd was treated to a spectacle of a performance from Pusha T and one that after so long of waiting, certainly delivered.
