Roddy Ricch & Cuuhraig @ Canton Hall – Dallas

Last night was pretty intense. Roddy Ricch and Cuhhraig rolled through Dallas, TX as they were set to perform at The Canton Hall. With the hottest start for any artist in 2020, Roddy Ricch quickly blew up after his popular hit “The Box” took over the charts. Despite coming out before Justin Bieber’s single “Yummy” it continued to place #1 and it was truly something historic to see. A few weeks ago Roddy Ricch has announced that the tour was sold out for all shows so I knew this was going to be a special show.

Cuuhraig opened up the night as he‘s been the only performer to take the stage before Roddy this tour. After dropping his debut album “Motivation for the Islands” late November he was ready to perform it this tour. I was specifically hyped to see him perform “I’m Sicc” and since he was an opener I was sort of in shock that most of the crowd knew the lyrics to the song.

To end the night Roddy Ricch quickly had the venue moshing. Right after performing his intro to the album he was ready to perform the second so to the album which was “The Box”. I was not ready for it. Everyone was jumping as high as they could while I was singing the song in my mind. Roddy stopped the song midway as he two kids getting pushed so he brought them on stage to rap with him. It was truly a heartwarming gesture from him. I was truly happy for the kids. It’s a moment they’re going to remember forever. This was my favorite concert of the year so far and I wish nothing but more accomplishments for Roddy.
