On October 3, 2025, Sub Focus transformed the Shrine Expo Hall into a fully immersive experience by bringing his Circular Sound production for the first time to the U.S. The Circular Sound created a night that felt less like any other show and more like stepping inside the music itself. From the first drop, the energy in the room was electric, every person in the packed hall feeding off the momentum that built with each track. What made the show extraordinary was how sound, light, and motion fused together to form the lively atmosphere. The circular setup was not just a concept but a complete reimagining of how electronic music can be experienced. The rotating lighting disc served as the visual centerpiece, spinning and beating in perfect rhythm with the music.
Sub Focus got the crowd going by playing his tracks like “Solar System” and kept the momentum going with a set that included “Original Don” “Fine Day” “Desire,” “Wildfire” and “I Found You.” He surprised the crowd by playing a dubstep remix of his loved song “Go Back”. His song “On and On” had the crowd moving from the first note, with everyone jumping, dancing, and singing along to every build and drop. The energy in the room hit another level as the production setup made the track feel alive, the bass rippling through the floor while melodies circled the audience. Each transition flowed smoothly into the next, blending older fan favorites with newer material. The crowd sang along to every beat, moving in sync with the music and feeding off the energy that filled the room from start to finish
For the last song, Sub Focus surprised everyone by bringing out Grimes as a special guest. The crowd went crazy as she joined him to play their new song. It was an unexpected but fitting way to close out a night that showcased just how far Sub Focus is pushing live electronic performance.
Sub Focus crafted his set with precision, blending euphoric melodies with pounding drum and bass in a seamless flow that made the entire night feel like one amazing journey through a solar system of music. What an incredible night for drum and bass fans in Los Angeles! The new album Contact will be released November 21 and we can’t wait to see what’s in store!
