The Black Lips ft. Surfbort @ Trees- Dallas

The night with Black Lips was a deliberately enjoyable show with the Surfbort co-hosting the night of mosh pits and broken glasses. Surfbort, a punk band from New York also made headways as they brought a lot of energy as a opening act. The smile of the lead singer was contiguous as she joined the crowd,  frolicking throughout the pit. Black Lips are currently on tour promoting their latest release, Satan’s Graffiti or God’s Art?, under the Vice Records label. The band permed a lot of there smash hits to an excited sold out Dallas crowd. They opened up the night playing the song “Sea of Blasphemy” which the crowd went mad for. They continued by playing songs from various records such as “Dirty Hands,” “We Know,” “Drugs,” and “Stone Cold.” They went on play a pretty epic encore leaving the crowd electrified! As always Black Lips brought their mixture of garage rock and psychedelic sound accompanied by their mischievous lyrics creating a high energy night for concert goers. Be sure to check out this legendary band when they make a stop in your city or near you! For now you can enjoy our concert gallery from that night!
