The Darkness are promoting their latest album ‘Motorheart’. During their 22 day tour, they visited Liverpool.

The opening band was another fantastic English group called Massive Wagons, the Lancaster rockers presented their best side, warming up the public and playing a full range of songs from their 5 albums.
The Darkness, led by Justin Hawkins, 3 Brit awards laureate, appeared on stage at exactly 9pm. They started with ‘Welcome Tae Glasgae’ which is a song from their latest album, followed by a ‘One way ticked’ from their second album. This was a smooth transition to biggest hit ‘Permission to Land’ from their debut album which received many accolades. The excited crowd heard 19 songs in total. New songs from their new album sounded fantastic,  among all their well known and loved tunes. They are masters of the riffs and left ‘Believe in a Thing Called Love’ till the very end. The cherry on the cake was ‘Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)’ which suited perfectly the cold December evening.
