Music, Why Not!

Tove Lo @ The Observatory – Los Angeles, CA

Two words Tove Lo. On May 18th The Grammy nominated artist took the stage for the first time in over two years. These two sold out shows at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California were meant to be previews for the tour she’ll have later this year or early next year. If this was just a preview, I can’t imagine how crazy the actual tour will be. The night was filled with dancing, emotion and gratitude to be back on stage! She kicked off the show with her song bikini porn co-written by Finneas. I overheard many fans who came all the way down the 405 from LA just to catch this show, and they were definitely in for a treat.

The Swedish pop star played her hits “Habits (Stay High)” and “Talking Body”. She also played one of my favorite songs “How Long” that she released earlier this year for the hit show “Euphoria”. Although it wasn’t a hometown show, it had a hometown feel. With the show being in the LA area a lot of her collaborators and friends in the crowd. Her stage presence was so powerful and her confidence radiated throughout the entire show. As the show came to an end She encored with her newest single “No One Dies From Love” and to her surprise everyone knew the lyrics! Tove Lo’s music has a nightclub feel in the best possible way and that night felt as if you were in the nightclub with your friends dancing without a care in the world! Definitely make sure to catch Tove Lo on her upcoming tour, you won’t regret it!
