Trippie Redd @ The Riviera Theater - Chicago, IL

Hip-hop artist Trippie Redd came through to the Riviera Theater on the 13th for his second and final stop in Chicago supporting his Let Me Love You tour. Trippie sold-out both dates as well as several other dates on this massive tour. Kodie Shane and Blocboy JB opened up and had the crowd moving early on; Kodie played an impressive, energetic set and definitely gained some new fans. Blocboy JB played hits such as “Look Alive” and “Shoot”, each track had the crowd singing and rapping along.

Trippie came out to an amazing stage set-up, a gate was set for his entrance and a massive heart illuminated behind center stage. Trippie played some of his older hits such as “Topanga” and “BANG!” while also running through most of his latest release, A Love Letter to You, Vol. 4. The beats and melodies of his songs shook the building while they swooped around and under electrifying crowd. There is is always a moment during a show where you can feel the energy peek and just send a thunder of excitement in the crowd. If you feel it and look around you can see others feeling it too. Trippie is known for his high volume of energy on stage, you’ll rarely catch Trippie stagnant on the stage, his stage presence is so bright and this crowd was definitely illuminated the whole night.
