One of the greatest nights of my life. For the second time ever I was finally able to see Twenty One Pilots perform again. As goofy as it sounds, when I first heard the radio host y’all about Twenty One Pilots I thought the band would consist of 21members. Ironically it only consists of 2 people. The talented drummer, Joshua Dun and the Tyler Joseph as lead singer.
With only two tour dates left Twenty One Pilots performed in Fort Worth,Tx as Dickies Arena hosted their first ever show. Walking into the arena gave me the chills. I was able to speak with a few fans who were front row and I had asked them how long they had been waiting for and one girl said they were camping outside the venue since security allowed them to which was 3:00 A.M. What had me in disbelief the most was that we had a cold front hit us so it was around 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the morning. A part of me wasn’t surprised because I know how many dedicated fans this band has. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this fan base.
The moment everyone was waiting for. Twenty One Pilots finally came out as they performed “Jumpsuit” which is the intro to their latest album “Trench”. This was honestly one the best intros to a show I’ve ever seen. Midway through the performance there was confetti coming down from the ceiling and fire coming from the back of the car as seen on their music video for Jumpsuit. Seeing so many people smiling seeing their favorite band perform truly hit me inside because I can closely relate to them. Along with the thousands of other in attendance I can’t wait to see this amazing band perform in the future again.
