The Irish Indie rock band known as Two Door Cinema Club played an amazing set at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. There was a crowd of excited fans waiting outside the venue starting in the early afternoon to secure a spot in the front of the venue. It is always exciting to see the fans of a band invest so much time into live shows. Once showtime rolled around and doors opened the crowd happily waited inside anticipating the performance of the band. Circa Waves an indie rock band from Liverpool, U.K was the opening band of the night. There set started at eight and went on for about forty five minutes. It was a perfect choice to bring them out because the crowd seemed to be loving them. At around 9:15 Two Door Cinema Club walked on stage and the crowd went mad. They opened the night with “Cigarettes in The Theater” from their iconic album Tourist History released back in 2010. They went on to play a mixture of crowd favorites including “Do You Want It All,” “Bad Decisions,” and “Game Show.” As always their light work was incredible. The strokes of their bright white and blue lights definitely help set the mood of the venue. Everyone in the crowd was dancing and singing along to every song. They closed the night with their most iconic song “What You Know” which made the crowd burst with excitement. Overall it was a great night filled with energy and good music. If you get a chance I highly recommend you check them out. For now you can enjoy our photos of that nights show.
