Music, Why Not!

Valley @ Buckhead Theatre – Atlanta, Ga

Valley’s “Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden Tour” kicked off a little over a week ago and made a stop in Atlanta on October 5th at Buckhead Theatre!

The tour, named after their most recent album, is taking them all over the United States and Canada this Fall. Valley started the set by playing a song with that same title and performed it on a stage covered with a bed of turf and flowers spread around the floor as a representative of the album cover. So, this crowd really got to live within the album for a night!

Valley is playing bigger rooms than before and is getting to share their music with bigger crowds. The enthusiasm of the fans is still strong as the barricade was lined with people singing along as loud as they could and some held signs to show their appreciation. The happiness in that room made it hard to not have fun even for someone who doesn’t know the music too well!

While the show was set up to be a night within their most recent album, they still pulled back older tunes like “There’s Still a Light in the House” and “sucks to see you doing better”!

Overall, Valley’s Canadian pop music makes it hard to not bop along as they put their all into making their shows an experience instead of simply a performance. A well rounded production made Buckhead Theatre turn into a night of living within Valley’s “Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden” album.
