It was the third and final day of ACL and we were excited to see what the last day would bring us. We managed to catch Madison Cunningham at the American Express stage and wow, was she incredible. The singer came out with her bright blue guitar and immediately started performing, catching everyone’s attention. Songs such as “Hospital” and “Subtitles” were played; we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. The next act we caught was English singer Mimi Webb. The singer pulled a pretty big crowd despite the set being pretty early in the day. Webb had some devout fans in the crowd as they were singing every word along with her – songs performed included “Is It Possible”, “Dumb Love” and even “Both Of Us”.

Before catching the next acts we took a moment to walk the festival grounds and see what last minute activities attendees were doing. Many people were at the Wrangler Ranch as well as getting items at the ACL Markets. Mexican singer Kevin Kaarl took over the American Express stage and mesmerized fans with his incredible voice. As soon as “que te vas” started playing, the fans immediately started singing in unison, showing us how excited they were to see the singer. His voice, visuals and passion left attendees wanting more.  Suki Waterhouse was the next act – as soon as she came out, everyone cheered in excitement. It seemed like she had the biggest crowd at the Miller Lite stage and with good reason – the entire performance was out of this world.

We managed to catch the one and only Niall Horan at the American Express Stage and oh wow, were we left speechless. The Irish singer expressed his excitement to be back another weekend at ACL. In the crowd you could see many die hard fans for the singer as well as One Direction, as they were showing off their Niall/1D shirts, posters, and even dolls! The singer performed songs from his newest album “The Show” such as “Heaven” and “On a Night Like Tonight”. During “This Town” you could hear the entire crowd singing in unison at the top of their lungs, little did the crowd know what was going to happen next. The crowd goes silent for a brief moment waiting for the next song, when suddenly the intro to “Story of My Life” by One Direction, and wow, were those cheers one of the loudest I’ve ever heard. The crowd sang word for word, to where you couldn’t hear Horan sometimes, it was such a fun and nostalgic moment. The set ended with the “Slow Hands” – Niall was beyond incredible.

The day was slowly coming to an end and we were able to see more artists such as Ivan Cornejo and Cigarettes After Sex. Niall had a fellow Irish singer performing at the festival as well, the one and only Hozier. As soon as the singer came out everyone cheered, the set started with “De Selby (Part 2)” followed by a personal favorite “Jackie and Wilson”. Hozier’s voice is out of this world and every song makes you feel some type of way. The set was full of songs from Hozier’s entire discography, ending with “Take Me To Church”.

We finished the weekend with the one and only Odesza at the Honda stage. The lights dimmed, and the Duo’s logo slowly lit up on stage, causing everyone to get more and more excited. As soon as the first beats of the song dropped, everyone cheered, following the set to be full of pyro, lasers and incredible visuals. The duo performed songs such as “Heavier” and “La Ciudad”. During “Bloom” there was an entire drum line, followed by amazing fireworks and a display of lasers, it captivated every one of your senses and left you in a trance. It was a privilege to end the weekend watching Odesza.

ACL 2023 was another memorable year. From a variety of performers, to multiple food options and photo ops – there was something for every attendee to do. We look forward to what ACL 2024 will bring – if you have a chance to attend, please do, it’s a festival that will leave you breathless.
