With his sophomore album on the horizon, Scottish singer-songwriter and now world megastar Lewis Capaldi set off on his biggest UK tour to date, taking over some of the biggest arenas and selling out each one. Lewis Capaldi announced his triumphant return to music with the lead single “Forget me” which flew to the top of the Uk charts and promptly provided fans with the joyous news that his next album, “Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent” would be releasing on 19th May 2023. Capaldi has been on fire this year already, with the second single from the highly-anticipated album “Pointless” also now sitting on top of the Uk charts, the man simply continues to improve with every release and if these singles are anything to go by then his upcoming album is sure to be a special one at that. We were lucky enough to catch Lewis Capaldi as he played a tremendous show in Manchester at the AO Arena with the support of fellow recent chart topper Raye. This would be Capaldi’s biggest ever show in Manchester after headlining the outdoor Manchester Castlefield Bow last year. However, days before this arena show Lewis decided to yet-again surprise his fans by announcing three humongous outdoor shows in Edinburgh, Belfast and at Manchester’s very own Wythenshawe Park. Once again, Lewis Capaldi didn’t disappoint at all with his show in Manchester. The Glaswegian superstar manages to effortlessly blend his unique comedic sense of humour with his phenomenal singing talent and it provides for one of the best live shows money can buy. This show in Manchester was filled with gigantic LED screens, sneak previews at brilliant unreleased songs from the upcoming album and enough pyro/confetti to satisfy every concert goer! One thing is for certain that you won’t leave a Lewis Capaldi concert with dry eyes, and whether that be from laughing so hard at the comedic genius or from crying at his beautiful song writing is it up to you!
