Playing in what is believed to be Central Texas’ oldest operating watering hole, Sidney Gish and The Beths rocked the night in Austin’s own Historic Scoot Inn. Armed with just her guitar and a drum track, Sidney Gish opened up the night with her cleverly written acoustic tracks, soon having the sold-out crowd singing and swaying to “Presumably Dead Arm”. The Beths’ soon took the stage and opened with their infamous “Future Me Hates Me”. Accompanied by a large inflatable fish that the crowd named “Cameron Diaz”, the quartet went from song to song with an incredibly crisp, clean sound. There is no surprise the tour is heading into more sold out shows in the coming weeks.
