Childish Gambino: Donald Glover has been the unsung hero of the Hip-Hop/Rap game for some time now. With his most recent summer hit “This is America” Childish won four Grammy nominations at the LXI Grammy Awards. Launching his most recent project Guava Island ft Rihanna on April 13, 2019 and the foreshadowed projects to come, lead us to believe he is expected to bring something new to Lollapalooza.

J Balvin: Breaking records on and off the charts, J Balvin makes history as the first latin music headliner at Lollapalooza Chicago. His hit “ Mi Gente” ft. Beyoncé reached the top of the Latin Billboard charts, becoming one of the most streamed tracks. His collaborations with artist like Diplo, Cardi B, Major Lazer, Beyonce, and Selena Gomez has been able to bring reggaeton to a new demographic. I’m sure everyone is as eager as I to see his stage setup and visuals.

Tame Impala: Heavily influenced by the psychedelic rock of the 60s, Tame Impala’s music transcends time itself. With their groovy synths, powerful visual and unique sounds they have been able to rise in notoriety, breaking through the underground Australian psychedelic opus scenes and into mainstream media. Their set will surely hype the crowd, closing Friday night with immense energy which will leave attendees ready for what follows later in the weekend.

Ariana Grande: With her 4-octave soprano voice Ariana Grande has dominated the R&B and Pop charts; breaking records with her albums Sweetener and Thank You Next, winning Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” in 2018 and as one of the youngest female artist to headline music festivals in 2019.
