Lexington, North Carolina punk-influenced rapper and the self-proclaimed new Sid Vicious, Nascar Aloe, managed to have a successful 2019 in the underground Soundcloud rap scene. With his punk-influenced sound to his unorthodox demeanour to his youthful rebellion, the 20-year old rapper is way different from all these other rappers you hear in the Soundcloud rap scene. With an extensive body of work such as S**thead, FED UP!, and Simply Freakin Mental, some of his cult classic tracks that fans do love are FED UP, AMERICAN WASTELAND, SPMO!, and up n’ stuck. Apart from having an extensive music catalogue, one thing that Aloe’s fans really know him for is his live performances. From performing in warehouses to touring with acts like JASIAH and $NOT, his opening and headlining sets are what make fans excited for what he has up next. Most of his shows tend to have a very strong punk influence; from the crazy mosh pits to rapping in his briefs onstage to meeting with the fans before his actual performance, he can certainly make a good show to a perfect show all in a day. He took his DEATHPROOF US tour to Toronto’s own Velvet Underground and he made sure that he brought that unique energy to his Canadian fans.

Once doors opened, the fun didn’t start until forty-five minutes later when Nascar Aloe made a brief surprise to the bar and fans gathered all around him for pictures, communicating with him, and much more. He went to the bar to grab some beers and other alcoholic beverages, as a way for him to feel the energy for the night. He did a whole lot of other things that a majority of artists would never do, such as lighting and smoking a cigarette inside the venue, having rough horseplay with some of the fans, kissing the heads of many fans, and much more. To people working for the night, it is not something that’s expected of them, but to Nascar and a majority of the fans, it was a culture that they seem to be used to and acknowledge in every way. It was unusual to understand at first, but having that moment of doing the things you want is a great thing, especially for Nascar and the fans.

Before Nascar Aloe came on stage, his DJ and manager, Fo55il (pronounced FOSSIL), warmed up the crowd with some dope underground, Soundcloud rap ballads ranging from City Morgue, Craig Xen, 645AR, and also the late XXXTENTACION. Fo55il thought it would have been a great time to bring some local talent to perform a couple of songs before Nascar shows up. Local artists Duey Dirty and Nibxl performed some decent tracks for the fans to hear and seemed to engage quite well through turning up and mosh pitting all over the floor. Once they all finished performing, Nascar Aloe came on stage and performed multiple songs like PISSED OFF, AMERICAN WASTELAND, Heaven, Stupid, and Genocide. Fans were all going crazy for Nascar Aloe’s performance and showed every bit of emotion that you can imagine. With his non-stop performing, stellar stamina and enticing energy, you can tell that Aloe never gets tired easily and will do anything to make his fans happy.

He was about to do some of his stage debaucheries but venue security warned him if that would happen, the show would come to an end, and instead, he performed some more tracks. The North Carolina rapper also performed with his briefs, showed a lot of rebellious emotion every single time, and interacted with the fans as much as he could. If you can imagine a show that would be as crazy as it seemed and as much fun as it seemed, then a Nascar Aloe show will have to be your best recommendation for that dangerous fun and great energy. He will continue on his tour until February 21st, 2020 at the Lodge Room in Highland Park, California.
